OLICO S.A. was founded in 1981 by Mr. Michael Casfikis its President and Managing Director.Is a Greek company the activity of which is the collection of selected qualities of Greek extra virgin olive oil directly from the production, the quality control, the standardization in specific qualities and finally the exportation in bulk as well as packed all over the world.
OLICO's aim is to keep as high as possible the quality of exported greek olive oil in international markets, to give the best possible service to its buyers and increase the international interest for greek Olive Oil which is the most important agricultural product of Greece.
Since 1981 OLICO S.A. being one of the biggest collector and trader of Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Greece is a leading company as far as regards the exports of Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil in bulk, supplying the biggest European (especially Italian and Spanish) packers but also USA and Asian (Japan) companies. Its average turnover for the last years was Euro 30 - 40 Millions per year
OLICO is certified with ISO 9001 and has transport means (tank trucks INOX) and storage facilities in two locations in order to cover all the greek olive oil production:
- Iraklion / Creta island storage capacity: 2.200 tons
- Athens / Mantra Attikis storage capacity: 5.500 tons

OLICO S.A. exports the following packed products:
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil,

- glass bottles of 250ml, 500ml, 750ml, 1L,
- pet bottles of 1L, 3L, 5L,
- tins of 3L, 5L.
OLICO SA has appointed the quality control of its olive oils to the Chemical Laboratory OLITECN LTD which is specialized in analysis of Olive Oil before, during and after storing and bottling of Olive Oil. The Chemical Laboratory OLITECN LTD, which is an independent company of the group, is accredited by Hellenic Accreditation System (ESYD) (Accreditation Certificante No 17) to carry out test under the terms of the ELOT ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard. Total quality control is effected in order to guarantee and certify the quality and purity of the Olive Oil. It is a member of I.O.O.C. (International Olive Oil Council), F.O.S.F.A. (Federation Oils Seeds Fats Association), Hellas Lab (Hellenic Lab Association), A.O.C.S. (American Oil´s Chemist Society) etc.
From the farmers of Creta, Peloponissos, Kalamata and other oil producing regions to the table of the consumer the quality, the purity and the traceability of the delivered Extra Virgin Olive Oil is guaranteed as per above described vertical company's organization.
